Using Orphan Blocks with Vintage Textiles

Vintage blocks can be turned into modern items and fun art quilts. There will be a few antique quilts shown along with their stories. The orphan block quilted item will be shown with many creative results. Many vintage linens are used in the wall hangings with the orphan blocks. Recently made orphans are also included in the almost 30 items displayed. Techniques will be shared. Guilds love this trunk show that is bound to inspire! It is either in person or can be a zoom presentation.
This is now “in person” or still could be done on Zoom. It is wonderful to see the large variety of quilted items up close!
Meals, travel expenses & lodging if needed, are to be paid by the sponsor in addition to the fee. Hotel is preferred. If location is near enough to drive, mileage is at a rate of 56.5 cents per mile, (or current government business rate). Airfare is at the economy rate, plus ground transportation to and from Chicago O'Hare Airport
