Natural edge cherry burl platter

This is a beautiful platter made from a Wisconsin black cherry burl.  It measures 15.5 inches across by 2.5 inches high.  It has an epoxy finish which makes it foodsafe and increases the strength of it. The natural voids are filled with a turquoise epoxy filler.  There is a lot of texture on this one-of-a-kind platter.  It will be enjoyed for generations.  The center has a slightly raised part but can be used for serving.
