Here is my vintage linen, what can I do to make it into something?
No sewing machines necessary! We will discuss options for the special piece, and I will give suggestions and show samples of HOW to proceed!
Specific information will be given on working with: hankies, doilies, embroideries, lace, blocks, garments, dish towels, tablecloths, and men’s ties.
Students should bring a special linen piece plus an orphan block, hankes or lace so we can talk about using and possibly combine them. The photo is an example of one way to combine pieces, but we will talk about all kinds of handiwork and I will show ideas and “how to”. It is almost another trunk show!
