Embellish With Stitchery
1 day Beginner to Advanced
Hands on techniques with stitchery, 3-D flowers, and adding beads will be the focus, but you will also learn my technique of wool applique. You will go home with samples and skills to complete projects of your choosing. Many examples and ideas will be shared. Beware: The stitchery is habit forming!

Pillowcase hanger
1 day class Beginner to Advanced
Students will make a fancy hanger cover out of an embroidered pillowcase. It is best if the pillowcase has a lace trim.

Tea Party
1 day Beginner to Advanced
The newest workshop project uses six hankies and two fat quarters. The cups and tea pot are hankies, and they sit on fancy hankies. Students will use a machine applique technique, do machine quilting and binding on this 17 X 19 inch hanging or table centerpiece.
Workshop Fees: $150 for half day (3 hours in length) and $300 for one day workshops (six hours in length). Workshops capacity is limited to 15 attendees. Meals, travel expenses & lodging if needed, are to be paid by the sponsor in addition to fee. Hotel is preferred. If location is near enough to drive, mileage is at a rate of 56.5 cents per mile, (or current government business rate). Airfare is at the economy rate, plus ground transportation to and from Chicago O'Hare Airport.
